• What's BIX-pp?

The following are explained : Why it is necessary, and what kind of thing. BIX was standardization technique of the data exchange for handling various data utilized as biological information general-purposive by XML, and it was advocated by Prof.Kameoka et al. in 2001. BIX-pp is one of the subset.


• Definition of BIX-pp ver. 2.0
• By XML-Schema

A kind of markup language, that is controlled in the group of W3C is used. Then, it has been defined using XMLSchema in which the flexible definition is completed.


• An example of the description of BIX-pp file

I think that it is not understood how to make the BIX-pp file only by describing XMLSchema. Then, an easy example of description of fictitious plant production with English comments.


• BIX-pp version 2.0 data binding package for Java XML

The class package (info.bix.tokai.bixpp) for Java was produced byCastor ver.0.9.5.4. An archived JAR class file and an archived ZIP source (Java) file are available. Also, you can refer to documents of the class package by Javadoc.


• Research report of BIX-pp (in Japanese)

The research was carried out by grants-in-aid for scientific research from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. The document is final report (4.86 MB). Adobe Acrobat Reader (R) is required.


• The paper about the standard of BIX-pp version 1.0 (in Japanese with English summary)

The contents of the first edition which are the original standards are described. It was published in agricultural information society journal, JSAI 12(4),p.327-336,2003. Adobe Acrobat Reader (R) is required.
